Feeling good about starting my weight loss effort in conjunction with Lent. We had a nice community Lenten service last night that was very inspiring. I think I have pushed both spiritual well being as well as exercise to the back burner being so busy. Now I want to concentrate on bringing both of these back into my life for more balance!

I went to 6am cycling class before work yesterday and today I rode my bike on the trainer for 20 minutes. Even if I don't have a lot of time to exercise on some days, it is important for me to do some!

At the WW meeting the leader talked about picking one of the healthy habits they feature and making that a goal for each week. This week I am focusing on planning exercise into my schedule - to consciously plan the DAY BEFORE how I will fit in some exercise the next day.

I have some big challenges coming up - a catered holiday dinner today at work (belated office Christmas party, a fish fry on Friday night, a church dinner on Sunday. And then I'll be traveling to 3 Indian schools with our students and then on to Pierre for the Legislative Session. That will be Monday through Wednesday, eating in school cafterieas, Pizza Hut, and other catered lunches that tend to not be healthy! I am driving my own vehicle so I think that will help alot. I can go to the grocery store and stalk up on lots of healthy foods to bring for snacks, so I'm not so starved and can keep my portions small on the foods we're served.
154.5 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 4.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
