Ruhu's Journal, 08 November 2012

Yesterday was a much better energy day, even though I was stuck in the house again with the latest weather pattern. Looking out at about 6 or 8 inches of snow this time! Supposed to play paddle tennis outside this morning? And supposedly temp is going up to 60 degrees over the weekend!

Hate that you got that snow storm. But I heard that shoveling snow is good exercise!

Good point Buffy - and we burn more calories when we are cold - so Ruth out you go and clear those drives :)

Wow!! I live in the middle of the US and we haven't had much preciptation at all this year, so we'd love the snow, but I don't know if I'd want that much. If the temp goes up I'm sure that snow won't stick around for long. Like Buffy said shoveling snow is good exercise, so is just walking around in it and building a snowman, so have fun with it and burn some calories!!

Didn't get to the shoveling:(, but did take the dog for a walk to where my husband's car got stuck last night trying to get up the hill to our street. By midday enough of the snow on the street had melted (even where the snow plow had buried the car in overnight), so my doggy & I walked to retrieve the car. Promise if the snow stays til tomo, I'll get out there with my shovel. I agree that as long as its not too cold, it's great to be outdoors, especially in the 1st snow of the season!
