Waistline is below 70cm! Yup!

Yesterday I have been climbing, it has been awesome! :)
There was a new coach, and he made us try some harder ways up. I was stuck at some point, fell down few times but went on and on, till I tried all I could, then gave up. When I came down again, he told my friends that I am a fighter. Wow, what a compliment! :)
I really enjoyed climbing, I went on till my shoulders and forearms were aching. I hope to be able to do more next time.
I am glad I am back into sports again, with more strenght and determination than the past two years.
It is nice to be in the middle of the challenge, no fear, just adrenaline and willpower.

I am happy things in my life are improving. Especially my way of looking at things and events, that's the most important one.

Have a good day, FS buddies! :)

Climbing what? Like the rock wall places? Since you have a coach I am trying to picture what you're climbing. Great job on getting back into sports and the 70cm waistline!!

Hi Rubie-sue! Thanks! :) It's indoor climbing, in a gym with very high ceiling (20 meters) and rope, hooks and proper equipment for learning the technique or training.

OH cool! I"ve done that before, well I was the person at the bottom holding the rope for my niece and nephew. It does look really fun, and they loved it. Pretty darn amazing that you're going that again!! One day I hope to give it a try.....one day.

Hi Sazy! My weight problems started when I had to give up sports as well. I have always been sporty an skinny my all life, till I was 26. I was working full time on my MSc thesis, going visiting my (then ill) mom two times a month and my (now ex) hubby once a month. Then when I started working I have been travelling for six months, every week in a different place, no way to have control on food and to do workout. Also, when my mom died and the relationship with my hubby started to show unsolvable problems, I used food as a comfort. I was eating three to five times more than in the past.... I am happy it's not like that anymore :) I hope to be able to climb "real mountains" by summer next year! Climbing gives me so good emotions! :) a big hug!

Hey Rubie! I would suggest you not to postpone that too much! It turned out to be easier than I thought! My friends and I started climbing ways up for lil kids, then went on more difficult paths the next times. It's better to have a coach, for safety reasons. The very first time I was scared by the height, then it went away :) just go for it! :)
