doing ok. Just have to stay away fron those darned pretzels! I bought the multi-grain ones, but they really aren't any better then the regular ones! I still eat almost an entire bag! Does any one have any suggestions on how to satisfy that "Crunch urge?" something other then celery? I can't seem to find much for sbd phase 1 other then the typical salad. suggestions ????? help!

The only allowed crunchy food that satisfies me is nuts and you have to be careful not to overeat on those. I have read so many things about how good they are for us that I eat them almost every day. I buy Blue Diamond 100 calorie packs of natural almonds and find that I do good with those since I don't have a jar to eat from. I even read that almonds actually help you lose belly fat which is my biggest problem area. I also like to occasionally add about 6 dry roasted almonds to my SF chocolate pudding with a little whipped cream on top. Like you, I miss the chips!

Hey LeAnn, nice to see you back here! I haven't tried them, but someone posted a recipe for roasted chick peas that seemed like a good crunchy snack that wasn't almonds.

there was also a recipe someone (maybe ImLuuvd) posted that I tried.. take a mozzarella cheese stick and slice it into "chips".. put in oven and bake .. I am guessing oven about 350 and 10 min.. just keep your eye on them, they actually "brown" up and when they cook, they are like chips. very tasty and salty tasting too. I was surprised how much one stick of cheese made. You have to Peel them off the pan (use pam olive oil spray on the pan you cook them on)
