Chickturu's Journal, 15 April 2014

Hi everyone!

Today is my last business trip day, so I will be flying back home in a couple of hours. Overall the trip was ok-ish, however not being able to control my food intake and my times to exercise made it very very hard for me. I'm so happy to go home, cook my tasty and healthy food, get pampered by my boyfriend, go to Zumba, and jump in my trampoline again :)

Many of the last days I even went over my RDI by a lot of calories, so honestly I didn't even dare to weigh myself since a few days ago. I'll wait to be back home and go back to my routine, and then perhaps on sunday I can weigh in again.

Cowntdown begins today!!!
From today 16th of April, I have exactly 1 month to lose 4 kg. I still need to figure out how to do it (perhaps increase cardio and decrease weights?) but this loss needs to be very, VERY noticeable. I want a couple of people to be surprised when I go to my country... and who knows? perhaps I might even surprise myself ;)

Hope the business trip was rewarding. Have a safe flight and don't worry that the plane was built by the lowest bidder. ;)

For this new 1 month challenge I would suggest doing cardio for longer sessions. No need for it to be intensive, just double the time and you'll definitely burn more calories. Also, you can decrease weight training but that will that will mean less calories burned but you can easily compensate that with longer aerobics. It's not easy patience-wise though. I remember doing an hour indoor cycling for a few days in a row (low intensity) and I found it mentally wearing.

I hope the trip home is a good one!! It will be nice to get back to your routine. They say strength training is good because building more muscle= burning more calories, so I wouldn't completely get rid of it. As long as you're moving more you'll burn more, so just keep moving and watching those calories in and I'm sure you'll do fine. Good luck!!

Thanks Mars :) I'll definitely watch out my calories and find the way to increase my exercise, being cardio or weights.
