So I am giving up on the Zone. I am going to a Paleo diet that is 65/10/25 and am upping my calories to 2600 a day. I am avoiding all dairy, fruit, bread, yogurt. I bought some Avocado oil. I took some "before" pictures.

Breakfast: Thinly Sliced Beef Sandwich Steak, Egg, Grapes, Coconut Oil, Macadamia Nuts, Natural Choice Canadian Bacon. Lunch: canadian bacon hormel, spinach, peppers, rotisserie chicken, avocado oil, walnuts. Dinner: Avocado Vegetable Oil, peppers, Ground Beef (90% Lean / 10% Fat), Monterey Cheddar Cheese Shredded, Turkey Breast & Ham Salad, Uncured Beef Franks. Is the entry above a Zone day or Paleo day? It doesn't look like a zone day, so I can only assume it's a Paleo... Good luck. I am new to Zone and have lots 3 pounds in 2 weeks, so on schedule. I am not sure about the calorie level you are on, as it seems a lot?
Anyway, having done Jenny Craig, calorie counting, low fat and Atkins, I have to say Zone makes me feel the best, and gives me a good variety of foods, is 'clean eating' so I won't be changing. Everything else I have fallen off the wagon due to overly restrictive eating, and I like the Zone for being the opposite of that. Why do you think it didn't work for you?
