Oh my word! Another fail on my part! How do I keep managing these epic fails! Okay, so it has been one hell of a hectic past month… one of the worst I have had in a while. Stress of not being paid, yes, the company I work for is in dire straits. I only recently got April’s salary, yet I am expected to continue to show up at the office. Not even sure if I can hope for a salary in the next few days.
Also, moved into a flat with my fiancé. To be honest, besides the fact that I have not had the chance to pack out everything yet, I am absolutely loving ‘married life’ as we jokingly call it. However, the move was a large amount of additional stress. In addition to everything else, honors studies has seriously been taking its toll on me too. Not only the content of the studies, and unhelpful lecturers, but assignment due dates on top of each other has had me working late every night for weeks on end! (Living off coffee, a lot)
I have been avoiding the gym, and not paying any attention to what I shove into my mouth. And as a consequence, I am back up to the heaviest I have ever been. :( Gaaaah!!! I feel stretched so thinly over everything I have to get done in a day. Health and fitness seem to just drop of the ‘attention’ list. However, I am now becoming painfully aware of the negative effects all of this having on my body. I simply cannot cope anymore. Yesterday I went back to Curves on whim (or was it a procrastination move on my part, as I had to still complete study work late last night?). And what do you know, I actually feel mild stiffness throughout my body today, and boy does it feel good. I feel so much better all round!
So, here we go again… another “restart”. facepalm If there is anyone out there that is interesting in keeping a boot handy to kick my backside when I am not logging regularly, please feel free to add me as a buddy. And if you want to IM or email, even better! Will probably add my standard measurements later after I get home, and have access to a measuring tape!

Hi KitsuneSilver,
Thanks for inviting me to be your buddy. I am also currently balancing married life, parental responsibilities, and studies. In fact, I'm going into my dissertation phase for my PhD in Education starting Monday.
Listen, it's easy to kick yourself when you've slid back some. You don't need anybody else to help garner the boot on your backside. Instead, might I recommend setting little goals. You seem like the type that would benefit from a sense of accomplishment. This is more easily attained when the goals are not so massive. It's ok to have large goals too, but create some little ones to help you reach the bigger ones.
Maybe you can start with planning your daily meals, that way, that's one more thing you've got control of. If you need to go smaller, try just planning breakfast. Hope this helps and I'm really looking forward to this journey with a new buddy.
