Well, middle son graduated from his Medic Program... YEAH! It was a bit bittersweet. My mom so looked forward to the graduation of this young man. She was so proud of his 'Fireman' choice and direction in life...and she was praying for him to get a full time job once he graduated from this Medic Program to become a certified/licensed Paramedic. I know in my heart she was there. And I know he knows it too!!! - Still, rather a happy/sad moment for me.
OH sooooo much going on - dress fittings - reception items - picking up tuxes - shoes - jewelry - hair appts - nails, etc.......
This is going to be a week for the record books! LOL!!!
Will try to post some pics of middle son's graduation...
then next week will put up some of the wedding pics from my husband's camera! (the professional ones won't be available that quick.)
Another bittersweet day... but I am going to try very hard to stay in the moment for my daughter and not be sad. My mom wouldn't want that...and my daughter doesn't deserve that. I need to be present for her!
Hope you are all doing well... I have no idea what my weight is - but my dress fits perfect (size 8) - so I don't care! I'm not going to weigh in until after the wedding, probably a week after on my birthday.
Until then - I will just mind my choices...and move towards a wonderful week! Much Love.

Your mom was definitely there at the graduation, Paula. Would love to see the photos. Good luck with your wedding prep. I know you'll be present for your daughter and beautiful in your dress. HUGS!

Congrats to your son; happy for your daughter; your mom would have been proud of both of them, just as you are; sounds like you are doing well in the midst of all that is happening. Have a blessed week, and though I'm early; Happy Birthday! :-)

I do understand about all those bittersweet celebrations - but you have such a great attitude about it. Try to enjoy each celebration life gives you.

Best of luck, I know how crazy it can be at this time, but enjoy it and know that your Mom is not missing a thing she is with you all the way. Big congrats for your son job well done.

It's those 'special milestone' moments, that we miss those dearly loved departed, the most. You are right to be mindful of not spoiling the events... And trying to keep "upbeat", I am sure it is hard - as it is still fresh in your mind. (((hugs)))
