Good news from the Dr. - ankle is not broken, only sprained. And best of all, he said I could ride my bike (pain permitting). Really needed that news... I've been down in the dumps all week fearing I would be told to 'stay off it' for six weeks, not to mention gaining FIVE POUNDS in a single week. It's not like I've been on a cruise or anything - lol. I almost broke my OTHER foot kicking the scales this morning!!! I should have asked the Dr. how much the fluids in my bruised and swollen foot weigh... :D
