F R I D A Y!!!
Well, I got the garage about half done yesterday. Got the lawn mower washed, the garden watered, and the junk taken to the recycle center. Today is more of the same. I need to trim the yard, finish the garage, and once again, run to town. I forgot onions, butter, and celery yesterday. We could also use some more mushrooms. I did get my walk in last night, but I have to say, I was really fatigued and my muscles hurt. Ended the day with almost 13,000 steps. I averaged 13,300 for the week ending 6/10, but don't think I will do as well this week. Guess we'll see.
Food was good yesterday. Dan made a wonderful chuck roast, with sweet potatoes, carrots, and green beans. I made jalapeno poppers and we had salad with dinner. All delish and stayed within my carb and calorie limits, so win-win! I did not do very well with the water. I get busy, forget to drink, and then I find myself parched. That is never a good thing. So today, I will drink more water...keep a cup with me at all times, and just keep sipping!
Mister continues to improve, but it sure is a slow process. He came out last night and "asked" for something to eat, so I gave him some tuna. He ate about 1/4 of a can, which is a lot more than he has been eating. He also ate some treats, so I think (hope) that means he will soon be back to his playful, loving self.
I know I talk a lot about my furbabies, so I put this together so that you can see their cute little faces. Lucky, Jasper, and Brewster left us last year, but they will always be a part of our hearts.
Anyway, here is a slideshow of "The Boys". Once again, just click and it will start. I really need Heather to explain to me how to make it happen here, rather than in a link! Enjoy!

TTFN!!

OH my gosh - I LOVE my cats like they are children so you dod not need to explain it to me! So happy Mister is more happy and better. Good for the antibiotics, right?

Awww thanks for the pics, your kitties were and are such cuties!! I have two of my own, and Dudley (he's 12) has been sick for awhile now with pancreatitis and bowel disease (bleah)--sometimes he is great but other times he gets pretty ill. I love them dearly and I know you love yours too! So I like reading about how Mister is doing! Have a great weekend!

Lisa, thanks. They are not sure exactly what is wrong with Mister, just a raging infection. They suspect the kidneys. Your poor kitty...I will say some prayers that he gets better! Have a wonderful weekend!

They look really wonderful and special.:) Good to hear that Mister is slowly mending and getting stronger. You must be so relieved. Keep up the great work...and must say that you inspired me to go out for a walk tonight seconds after reading your journal lol. Think you can do something about my haywire eating lately??;-) Hope the rest of your evening is relaxing. Hugs!!

Thanks, Tracy. It is funny, when my Pyrenees mix sees the camera he runs and hides, so if I want pictures, I have to sneak up on him! lol have a wonderful weekend!

Maria, they are. They bring such joy to my life, and I hate when one of them is sick. Having lost 3 of my furbabies last year, I can't bear the thought of losing any more right now, so I am especially thankful that Mister is doing better. Glad that you got out and took a walk. As for the haywire eating? Wish I had the magic formula! I would take some! lol Have a great weekend, Maria! HUGS!
