Maintained weight after the "rest day" yesterday although I didnt get home until midnight and had to get up at 5 to pack for Yosemite! It's going to be a slight challenge in a house of 12 people with a ton of beer and liquor floating around. But at least we have an 8 mile hike planned. Should be awesome!

I am so jealous. We live 3 hours from Yosemite and have never been there as a family :( I want to go this summer so bad. Are you staying the night there or just going to the day?

We rented out a house in some gated community about an hour out from the valley. I'm leaving there at lunch time and we're all coming back Sunday. Oh man, you guys HAVE to go!! It's freakin amazing! It's beautiful, majestic, humbling, and awe-inspiring. 3 years ago a group of us went up and hiked to the top of Half-Dome. That was a pretty tough hike at around 13 miles roun trip if I remember right. 2 years ago, we hiked to the top of El Capitan, a 16 mile roundtrip hike. This year it's just a nice and easy 8 mi round tripper to one of the waterfalls :D
