Carlys Mom's Journal, 13 June 2012

I officially started training for the Rock and Roll half marathon in September. I'm doing boot camp at the beach on Wednesdays and Fridays, running on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and resting on Sundays. Wow...it's a tough schedule, but I'm going to hang on so I can do a mud run in August and the R&R in September. More than anything I need to get acclimated to the heat and humidity. Ick.

I have a really hard time with the heat and humidity. Running in it is especially brutal! Good luck with it!

Thanks! I'm going to try to slowly acclimate. My focus this week has been on hydration and sleep.
