Happy Entry...
After a couple of "bad" weeks (food wise) I have had a fabulous, success of a week! I still haven't weighed myself (will do that on the 16th) but I have lost 2 WHOLE inches off my waist! :D I have a 24" inch waist now!!! It feels awesome to not crave carbs again.
I think what happened was probably that I was in a rush to lose the 10 lbs by July. I could not stand the plateau I'd hit. So I decided to cut down on my carbs and cals... and cut them down a bit more and a bit more. Not good y'all.
Looking through my diet calendar I can attest i've been smashing my cal intake everyday for the last week. And i've significantly upped my carb intake (in the form or veggies).
The other thing - I've almost eliminated all cheese and cream. Other than a few crumbles of blue cheese for my sides or vinaigrettes. I've been replacing the carbs with sweeteners (not going over the recommended 3 packets) and veggies. And It might sound weird but I feel like my body is detoxing. The cheese thing came about because I didn't have time to do grocery shopping last week.
I will buy some cheese this weekend but I'll definitely not make it my go to ingredient for flavor.
Best news though I think i'll be able to make my 136 lbs mini GW by July! *fingers crossed* How's everyone else doing this week?

ahh! great to hear you are doing well! Cheese is the hardest thing to cut down on for me (if you look at my diet calendar there are ENTIRE DAYS of cheese!). Crossing my fingers for ya!

I thought so too Megan. Like I could give up everything else but not cheese.
It was just a coincidence this week that I ran out of all the cheese except some blue cheese. I buy organic and the "red carrot" I shop at is a fair distance. I guess that's a good thing.
