I tried to talk myself out of it last night and this morning...going to the gym. But I HAVE to. It's a class, so I will get the best workout from it...better than doing it on my own in there AND he now depends on me to clean the place (which is good cause I don't like letting others down).

So off I go to clean the gym then sweat my ass off in it.

I was letting all I have to do overwhelm me and pull me down, but if it's really not that much I have to do. And the boys are gonna help me clean the house before the surprise party, so that helps me mentally.

Back in a few hours with updates! :-)

I can't believe I almost blew off today's workout. What an idiot!! I felt so good afterwards and I am making great food choices without a second thought.

Had a locally made apple juice with hibiscus, water and spices added before my workout (natural sugars, but no protein...dang it), a vanilla protein shake with coconut milk, macs powder and strawberries as soon as I got home, and since then a banana and now a salad.

I know tonight at J's good-bye party, I will have some of the fruit I bought, but there will mostly be 'bad' food. So making sure I don't get hungry through the day and pig out tonight.

Thanks, Pam-u-la. I'm learning to be my own cheerleader. It's difficult at times, but when it clicks in my head that I only need me to be proud of myself and then remember how it feels to be proud of myself, it becomes a no-brainer. It is hard to get to that spot every day, but it's like cleaning the house and paying the bills...who else is gonna do it? Only ME. :-)
