My problem is eating lots of snack during the day and not enough meals.

I have that same problem and have licked it by allowing myself to snack anytime I want on puffins cereal. I tell myself that if I am actaully hungry I can eat the puffins cereal. If I am eating out of habit of just stuffing my face, the puffins cereal is so boring that I either decide that I don't want it or eat it and stop much sooner than I would with a tasty sanck. Wow, that's actually a GREAT idea! Thank you. I also snack a lot during the day. I think I prefer snacking over meals. I am actually going to the nut store today to purchase gourmet salted (without butter) popcorn, almonds, etc. I am also going to the produce store to buy plenty of fruits and vegetables. I figure that if I make a fabulous fruit salad, it will satiate the snack cravings during the day. Try to choose healthy snacks that you just happen to love between meals ;)
