FRIDAY!!!
It is Friday and we have a few errands to run. Need to go to Tractor Supply, O'Reilly's Auto Parts, and Wally World...UGH!
The weather is lovely, although it is starting to warm up again. It is supposed to be nice for the weekend also. Baby sis is taking mom down to her camper for the weekend, after she takes her kiddos to the airport in the morning for their trip to Florida to visit their grandparents. They should have a great time! Disney, Universal, and all that good stuff is in their immediate future! :)
I need to mow and trim, get out the hedge trimmers and trim back the bushes along the fence line, figure out where to set the composter, plant the elderberry bush, work on cleaning out the garage, and power wash the driveway. Lots on the "honey do" list! The concrete work I did yesterday set up nicely. I had never used concrete patch before and was really pleased with the results. It is called Fast Plug.
The weight is the same and so it will be 191 for the start of the "This Is Summer" challenge. I am looking forward to getting that scale moving some more and at a faster pace than 1/4 pound a week! Sheesh, at this rate I'll never reach my goal! lol
Well, that's all the news that's fit to print from my corner...hope all is well in your's!
TTFN!

With all that you do I'm surprised that you aren't dropping more weight. I have one of those to do lists as well but I'm not having much success in cutting it down. New things seem to get added before the old ones get done.

FOL, one would think so, wouldn't they? I am just baffled. Guess I am just slow! As for the "honey do" list, mine always has more items added before the ones on it are done. That is why it just continues to grow exponentially! lol Have a great weekend!

I am loosing crazy slow right now, and given my calories in vs calories out I am not understanding it either, BUT it eventually has to come off.
Hope you have a great weekend

Now you are doing concrete work along with your landscaping? Don't think you have to worry too much about getting all you steps in. BTW - losing weight at 1/4 pound/week still equals 13 pounds a year. We've got time!

Slow and steady loss Stef is better than climbing - this is my forth year of weightloss, but to think where I would have been if I hadn't started......

Pam, believe me, this is NOT normal for Missouri! It is usually so humid that you can cut the air with a knife, so I am taking your suggests and enjoying it! Have an awesome weekend!

Buffy, I do these things out of necessity. There simply isn't anyone else. That being said I also like doing things like that. :). And yes I will take a 13 pound loss...it is much better than the alternative and we DO have time! Have a wonderful weekend my friend!

Tracy, I agree, but I would sure like to see that scale move at a faster rate. Guess I am just impatient. I shudder to think where I would be today if I hadn't decided to change my lifestyle in January 2010. Oh and I have been a card carrying member of the concrete club for a while. Just don't get the chance to use my membership skills very often! Lol. How is the wall coming? Have a great weekend, my friend! Hugs!

Sounds like a nice weekend in store for you. Your sister and her family will have a great time here. Lots of rain though lately. I hope it will be nice for them. Enjoy your weekend. I want to see the scale moving too but I'm afraid it may be going the wrong way.

How cool that you have that much energy to get all of these things done! I am so proud of you, Stef. You really are my Paleo real life idol. My composter has been torn apart by my two hooligans. I have to keep it inside my picket-fenced garden area but I haven't put it back together again since they tore it up last. Garden is a weedy mess with a baby rabbits right in the center of it. Made a garden on my back deck. It's a mess too but at least I am growing something. HA HA! I want to do concrete work. Or... build a patio with block. Probably not this year. Maybe next year when I am working again.

Stef, again....I get all tuckered out just reading about all you do! I think instead of wishing for a clone of myself, I'll wish for a clone of YOU! LOL!!! Enjoy a non-Missouri-like weekend!

All that fresh air and activity is fun to read about lol!! Things are cool here on the West Coast. Puts me in a hibernating mode.;-) Definitely voc=uch for "To do" lists--feels good to get things accomplished, and see instant results--everything cleaner, brighter, healthier. Hope you are at the top of yours sometimes.;-) Have a great day. HUGS.:)))

Puts me in a hibernating mode.;-) Definitely will vouch for "Honey do" lists--feels good to cross things off the list, and see instant results--everything cleaner, brighter, healthier. Hope you are at the top of yours sometimes.;-) Have a great day. HUGS.:)))
