WEDNESDAY

We didn't do a lot yesterday. We did get the diving board and pool slide cleaned, the garden watered, the roses fed, the weeds sprayed, and I got my walk in.

The weather was still pretty hot, but it is supposed to cool down some today. They are saying 80 for a high, which will be nice little break. However, there is a cold front coming through and tomorrow it is supposed to be only in the upper 60's and rainy which is going to make for a miserable day, especially since we are now acclimated to the heat. This weekend there is a graduation party for my niece and nephew (college for one, high school/college for the other...he was in a special program for gifted students and went to college the last 2 years of HS). 2 other nephews graduated HS this month also. They are all growing up so fast. WOW.

Food yesterday was good. Weight hasn't changed, so not going to record it. I am tired of seeing that silly line stay the same, but suppose I shouldn't complain, as it could be going up. As I said I got my walk in, but didn't get any pool exercise yesterday.

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print from my corner, hope all is well in your's! Pretty boring, huh? LOL

TTFN!!

Boring is good...sometimes EXCITING can be scary instead of good...nothing wrong with staying steady, just don't stop paying attention to your intake...or things will slip on you...Later.

Madjak, yes sometimes boring is good! lol As for not paying attention to my intake, I hear that...happened last year after dad died, and it is taking me forever to get back where I was. I record everything. Have a great day!

I just want to thank you for your all too kind comment on my journal. I know what you mean about the hot weather. It has been 90's here all last week and this week. As far as that red line I would love to see it stay the same when I have the nerve to stand on that scale. lol Enjoy your afternoon and thanks again.

Sounds like a pretty busy day to me :-)

lol not much to do....some people call this bliss.....others call it boring :) Smart nephew!! I am trying a new tactic to get the weight moving in the right direction, I'm sticking to my calorie counting and exercise at the moment is the garden - but every morning and night I tell myself that my ideal weight is 70kgs (my target) and together as a mind and body we are doing everything to get there so we must just keep going in that direction.....It sounds nuts, but I watched a programme about why people don't put on weight (which made a real change) and it did feeding tests on people who seem to eat whatever they want and stay the same slim weight - they fed them up for a month with crazy amounts of calories, they all put on weight, but then when they went back to there normal heathly way of eating within weeks their bodies had returned to their start weight. I found it interesting that they all just seemed to say well this is the weight I am meant to be, so why would it not go back to there...so is part of the final success actually believing in ourselves and bodies to be the ideal weight for us and maintain it with ease as this is where it is meant to be....

I know what you mean about not wanting to record your weight when it is the same as the last time you weighed in. Mine isn't going down, either. But as you say, that's better than it going up!

80 is perfect weather for working outside. Am sure you'll catch up. Good luck with that weight graph!

Cathy, your life has had so many changes in the last year, that I am amazed that you have time to record a journal entry at all! Florida in the summer is a bear...we used to go every year for 2 weeks to Palm Island (just about 1 1/2 hours south of where you are, at Cape Haze) and it was always sweltering. Of course, being on a private beach, with the wind blowing helped a lot!! LOL Have a great week, my sweet friend!

Pam, around here it was a pretty sedate day. lol I am hoping to get the spare room cleaned out tomorrow as it is supposed to rain all day! That will be plenty of exercise, let me tell ya! lol

Tracy that is an interesting study. I am going to give it a go myself and see what happens. Sure can't hurt and may well be the final piece of the weight loss puzzle! Have a great day!

Britt, I am going to be recording a loss very soon...I am going to keep telling myself that, and do as Tracy says and tell myself what my target weight is. :)

Buffy, no catching up today...oh, well there is always tomorrow! Thanks!

Yvonne, it wasn't boring, but it also was not a very productive type day...not much exercise here in the midwest! lol Have a great rest of your evening, sweet friend! xxoo

You are right. I have had lots of changes but you would think with good changes I would have just carried on with my routine. Before I worked and ran around so much trying to get things done. I always thought it would be great if I had more time to exercise. Now I have the time and for some reason have not yet found the motivation to do it. lol But like I said I am not giving up.

Hi Stef, I cant imagine you ever having a boring day, though i agree with other buddies that boring can be good, well ok at least. Your day did sound busy enough for me, but then i am not Stef, who CAN on occassion walk 19.000 steps in one day AND do the chores too. You set the bar Stef. love Sazy xx
