My quest for the right balance continues. I ate as much junk as I could shove in my face and drank beer until I didn't feel any feelings this weekend. Gained a grand total of .2 lbs. What gives? I ate salty snacks and generally ate too much, I didn't even record what I ate because I would not have been able to keep up with the way I fed from the trough. So I am starting to think that I am simply not eating enough during the week to maintain my metabolism at the pace it needs to be at in order for me to lose weight. Going to add some snacks to my daily intake to keep me around 1800-1900 calories. That's 2-300 more calories than I am getting now, but it may be the ticket to keep my body from trying to save the starving man.

Wait! Just because you didn't gain wait from your totally-worth-it weekend yum-fest doesn't mean you need to add calories to your plan. Your body isn't used to consuming what you ate over the weekend, so it probably counted it as waste and treated it as so. Stick to what you were eating for a week, then if you must add the calories next week.

You've come a long way in a short period of time buddy. Nice work and keep grinding and don't let the plateau get you down..and whatever you do don't freak out and start tapping:)
