As Stef (Ctlss) says, it's time to get back to regular programming! I actually like getting back to a normal schedule after holidays or long weekends. I guess I just like my ruts! LOL!

Walked 3.1 miles this morning; dogs along for just 1.2 miles due to the heat. Summer is definitely here! And, the bugs and mosquitos are out, just in case anyone needed reminding that summer's arrived. That means I have to spray repellent on myself if I'm going to be outside for any length of time....like my AM walks. Otherwise, I just use that Off! clip-on fan-thing.

Lots of routine chores to do today....laundry, watering flowers and lawn, getting trash out, and getting my Collie guy to the vet this afternoon.

Yesterday, I did some grilling for the week's meats and also hopped into the pool....all the usual trappings of summertime.

In some respects, it was a loooong weekend, in others, it was darn short...tuckered me out to say the least, so no excercise for me this morning unless you count repeated slaps of the snooze button, didn't get up till 5:15!

Oh what a slug you are GG....sleeping in until 5:15AM????? LOL!! Based on what you wrote about today, however, probably a good thing you DID "sleep in," even until that time.

Girls you have just made me realize what is missing from my life...yes I like ruts as well, I miss them that is what is missing. With my crazy schedule I can't get in one and just coast along......I am so jealous. I think one of those things be careful what you ask for, years ago I asked for more excitement in my life LOL I have to be more clear and concise with what I ask for. 13 is my lucky number as well YAY all good things happen when a 13 is involved....

Routines are great! They make us productive and keep us on track. The (Fat) Secret is NOT to permit the "routine" to become a "rut." Can we plan variety in our routines? Certainly!
