I'm really proud of my self control this weekend. We had a BBQ/smores night and I didn't eat anything bad! We've had chips and snacks in the house all weekend and I have abstained. And also proud I remembered my journal from last week and didn't drink beer (beer and BBQ goes hand in hand in my mind) even though all of my guests were drinking it and one even left her remaining beer in my fridge. (I do think I'll move it to the pantry shelf-warm beer is not a late night temptation). So, now to keep that momentum going through out the week.

And you should be proud. Some bad habits are harder to break than others. I didn't avoid the beer like I should have Saturday and felt crappy Sunday because of it. The pantry is a good idea to keep the beer out of your temptation zone. I wish DH didn't keep a cold 12 pack in the fridge all the time. We have all kinds of junk in the house too...but I make sure that there are good things easy to go to for me at hand. We just have to remember why we are not eating it anymore and find a better food choice. I notice that I also don't eat for eating's sake anymore. I eat when I'm hungry only.

Good Job...Yea the alcohol was sabatoging my efforts. I'm taking a month off from it.
