I have just realised that all these years, I blamed my medication. I had to take steroids first for my asthma problem, next for my migraines etc etc. and I always blamed my steroids for my weight problem. I made a record of historical weights I remember and jotting down: 2001 119 2002 154 2003 176 2004 187 2005 200 2006 196 2007 202 2008 209 2009 216 2010 230 2011 240 2012 240 Pretty much what I realised after jotting down is that I had weight issues while I took steroids and also while I did not take them.
It was a dawning moment. I also realised the area gap I went down durng 2005-06 was my freshman year at college and I pretty much lead an active life. Keeping these thoughts down on a forum like this makes me feel as if I am fessing up and feel better. I am going to stop blaming things and staring doing things. Happy to report a new weigh in 230lbs. :D

Good for you! That is a big and important change for you. I used to blame my thyroid disease but decided plenty of people lose weight with thyroid disease - and you can lose even with medications!
