About 2 years ago, I went "jean" shopping... Now I hate "jean" shopping because I can never really find a pair that fits my booty like a good pair of jeans should. Anyway, sis and I hit the Levi's store determined to find a pair. I tried on 3 or 4 styles and really didn't like the fit, when the sales lady suggested a pair. The only thing was, she only had them in a size 12. At the time I was a size 14, but she suggested I try em on because they fit a little big. So I did! I got in the dressing room and proceeded to paint this size 12 curvy fit Levi's on. Now a short while later, I emerged from the dressing room... A little light headed and somewhat skeptical but successful nonetheless in squeezing into these jeans. Then the debate began, sis "they look good... How do they fit?" "tight" I replied. "They'll stretch" she said. This debate continued on for a few minutes... and I was about 2 seconds away from putting them back on the shelf... When suddenly this VERY handsome, well dressed, mid 40's, black man came strutting across the store and said "Oh my god woman, you have the nicest ass I've ever seen on a white woman! You have got to buy those jeans!"...... And there is the story of how I ended up with a pair of Levi's that were too small for me! :)
Anyway, I wore them out on the town a few times, but quickly decided they were really too tight and they proceeded to go further and further into the back of my closet. Occasionally over the past 2 years I would pull em out only to be reminded of how much weight I've put on. I think I even got to a point last fall where I couldn't even get them up over my hips. :(
I am VERY HAPPY to say that I finally got the nerve up yesterday to try them on.... My skin tight, hot ass jeans..... are officially my slouchy Jeans!!
I guess I should have pulled them out sooner! LOL

I have to admit that I have two sets of clothes (it's a modest collection). I have my fat clothes and my skinny clothes. I did order a couple of new shirts lately in my skinny size. No, they are not a perfect fit, but some day they will be .... That's where I want my head to be.

Thanks for sharing this story with us, it really put me in a good mood! I hope that I could also fit into some clothes that I have buried away. Your success is a reminder to me that, with some work I'll get there!

I have tried "dieting" on and off for years and I can honestly say this is the first time in my life that I've been successful with it. It hasn't been easy but I'm extremely happy with my progress so far. It really is a lifestyle change and you can't expect to see progress overnight. I've taken off 22lbs, but it's taken me over 4 months.... Hang in there everyone, it's small steps one at a time!
