FRIDAY...AND THE START OF THE HOLIDAY

WEEKEND!


I got the grass mowed at baby sis' house, got about half of mine done, hubby worked on the screened in porch, cleaned the patio furniture, and I got the garden watered. About 5 pm, a girlfriend of mine showed up for a visit. I had forgotten that she was coming, so my lawn is only about 1/2 mowed. Of course, it rained last night...rain that was NOT in the forecast...SIGH... So today, I need to run to town and do some errands, finish the mowing, get the house cleaned and ready on the off chance that the oldest and his wife decide to come home for the weekend, and work on those flowers. Poor flowers are always on the bottom of the list. I also want to take the rug off the screened in porch, which means taking everything out, and spray it down good. Then wash the rugs, let it dry and put it all back. I am thinking that my list may be a bit ambitious. It is our weekend to clean the church, so we may do that tonight rather than tomorrow morning, then we can clean here in the AM. Ahhh, decisions, decisions!

Food and exercise were good yesterday. Took in about 1600 calories for the day, and burned 2605. Mowing is a calorie burner, even if it is on a riding mower. Lots of turning, jiggling, bumping, pedal work, and hanging on. All in all a fairly good day. Did not get any of the flowers planted. Had a rotisserie chicken for dinner last night with squash, asparagus, and salad. It was delish!

"...Might be a bit ambitious"????? Ya think????!!!! You have so much energy, I'm always in awe. If I had just half that energy, perhaps my house wouldn't be such a shambles! Take your time and smell those flowers! Have an enjoyable holiday
