Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit.

Last year, I took part in this weight loss study. Basically they were testing for change in perception of surroundings after weight loss or something like that. I was 69kg then and I was in a good place mentally, so I thought I was gonna lose weight. I did at first. I think I was 63kg at some point. Fast forward a year and due to the stress and other things, I'm actually 5kg heavier than then!.

Anyway, the guy from the test got in contact yesterday and I'm due to have a retest in exactly 3 weeks from today! I couldn't really refuse, so... now I'm in a panic. The annoying thing is that the guy doing the test is ridiculously attractive, so it makes it even worse if I show up not having lost any weight...

This is dire... but all I can do is try to lose as much weight as possible before then. Eat as little as possible, exercise like crazy and hopefully get down to at least 65 by June 15. That's a very big challenge, but given the choice between suffering for 3 weeks and the extreme embarrassment I'd have to endure if I showed up weighing more than I did last year... I think I'll take the suffering.

Right, so current goal is to get to 65kg in 3 weeks. That's losing 8.8kg total, approximately 3kg per week and 0.4kg per day. I think if I try really really hard, it's achievable.

I'm going to buy a new gym membership as soon as I can, most likely Wednesday or Thursday next week. As for food, my plan is to only have diet drinks, tea, coffee and water during the day and eat only once in the evening. And eat something healthy and low cal, like soup. If I get absolutely famished during the day, I can have some low fat yogurt or fruit. Fruit juice has a lot of calories, so I should probably avoid that for now.

Good luck to me... I'm gonna need it!
