I get knocked down! I get up again! You're never gonna keep me down! :-)
Fell of the wagon again over Mother's day weekend. Party at my mom's house resulted in the eating of my sister's incredible coffee cake. #fail 1
Mother's day morning, my son attempted to make me breakfast (so sweet!). Unfortunately, he decided that grapefruit and banana were perfect for me. I don't normally eat either on this level of my eating plan, because they are so high in natural sugars, but I wasn't going to disappoint my boy. #fail 2 (Thankfully, we don't keep any cereal or bread in the house, as I am sure he would have chosen to "make" those instead. The fruit I could handle.)
Stress ate my way through a long night of webscripting homework Sunday night. #fail 3
And lastly, sushi and brownies for lunch on Monday. #fail 4
Tuesday, I got my head on straight and back on the wagon with my eating. Today, I went out and re-did the first week of C25K running intervals, added on a couple more at the end, and then kept walking until I hit 5k.
Pretty sad after being able to run 28 minutes straight a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't have any cramping in my ankles or numb feet. I guess I will keep adding short intervals for now and then work on lengthening them. I'm just glad that I got back out there.
Hope you all are having a great week!

I love your attitude! Way to go for jumping right back into it!
And I know how crazy out of "prime" shape going a couple weeks without running makes you. I had an ankle injury a few months back (prior to which I was running 4-6 miles 3x/week), and even trying to run now (12+weeks later) and I feel like I'm back to baseline (plus with the ankle my PT doesn't want me to fatigue it too much so paying attention to what my ankle is telling me while fighting what my body wants adds a whole new perspective to how sucky injuries are)!

Good for you, Michaele. You're accountable and following your plan. That will put you in control at the end of the day. Hope your legs feel better soon.

We all fall off the horse sometimes, what matters is how we pick up ourselves afterward! I was baaaaaaaaaad over the weekend, but i'm working my butt off this week to get back on it.
C25k sounds interesting. I'll have to check that out.
