At the advice of my diet pals, I went ahead and weighed myself this morning. YES I'm up nearly 4 lbs. GRRRRR!!!! But now I know the damage and it will be there as a reminder NOT to go on crazy eating binges for a week long period of time! I got in the gym yesterday and sweated out some of the damage, drank alot of water, and chose my foods based on their nutritional value, and not their "comfort level" and I feel much better this morning! I CAN do this! I WILL do this!!! Even if I have to back up and redo some things, like reclaiming these pounds I already lost once, then that is what I WILL do! Yes it gets hard, but yes it's worth it! Okay, that's my self pep talk of the day! :-) Zumba class at 10:30 this morning...............I'll make this day count!

I'm starting with my personal trainer today and I've been advised to do intensive strength training (at least 4 times a week) to kick up my weight loss (which has stalled out over the last 6 months). Minutes for minute, cardio burns more calories but muscle has long term benefits by increasing your metabolism. Maybe give it a try, too. I'm interested to see how it goes for myself.
