Happy Mommy's Day! Got up fairly early for a Sunday morning. Ran 10.0 miles at an easy 11:30 pace (last long run before the race next Saturday). Did a little icing of the thighs, knees and legs. Went to the cemetary and put up some flowers and ornaments on our parent's grave sites. Kids came over with some pretty trees and and a rose bush they had bought for DW. First, I got out the barbie and we pigged out on brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a pork loin. About the time I was wanting to lay back, enjoy the breeze, and catch a little nap, I had to go get the backhoe out, and plant the trees. Grandkids were a treat, but one started getting a bit cranky toward the evening. Nice thing about grandkids is you can enjoy them during the good times, and then they go home. :) A good time was had by all. Now, about that nap. . .

Nice run! Glad you got to enjoy the day with your family. I feel the same was about kids too except that mine are friends/cousins children. Love to be able to give them back ;)
