I'm going to give Atkins induction just a few more days then I'm switching to weight watchers. If it would lessen my fluid retention even a little, I'd give it more of a chance, but my hands and ankles are still puffy. As it is, I usually feel a little sick after eating so much butter, oil, and animal fat, even though I really like them all. My strategy now is to lessen the protein, keep my fats steady (and high - around 70%)and lower the sodium. Still drinking upwards of the minimum amount of fluids and working out rigorously every day.
