If you are binging on things like chips/crackers/etc., try to put things in portion-sized bags as soon as you bring them home from the grocery store so you can't just mindlessly munch away with a box/bag of something.. other than that, you have to figure out what's behind this. Are you not eating frequently enough, so you get hungry and that leads to a binge? Is it boredom? Stress? Seems like if you can pinpoint the cause, you will have a better chance of avoiding it. That being said, I think it happens to a lot of people to a varying degree..
