So today I had a routine medical check-up. Over the past few years I knew I was getting bigger - I couldn't get many of my clothes at regular shops, but was the "lower-end" of the sizes in the specialist shops... Anyway - back to the check-up. Was asked to step on the scales and had that OMG moment. 162.3kg, 358lbs, 25 stone 8lbs - no matter which way you put it, it is a big number. No wonder I have been out of breath, sweating excessively from doing very little physical activity (sweating when walking - not good). Then came the BP check. What a surprise, my BP was high too... Fortunately, cholesterol and overnight fast checked just 6 months ago and was high, but not at trouble stage yet. So I came out of there and got home and decided it is time for a permanent lifestyle change. That is what brought me here. Target weight for now is 240lbs. 118lbs to go!
