Wow, just realized the last time I weighed in was 44 days ago and I'm still exactly the same weight. I've been dreading logging on to this site because I know I still haven't lost weight...thankfully, though, I haven't gained. My eating has been back and forth from so-so to terrible. And my drinking has been...well...just too much. I have been up and down and unmotivated...and the honest truth is that when I go home (as much as I love it), I lose myself and my routine. I find myself missing my ex and wanting to drink and eat unhealthy things.
So...I'm not planning on going home for a while and am currently participating in a weight loss competition at my gym. There are three categories to win: Most Weight Lost, Most Bodypump classes attended, and Most Physical Change (voted on by gym members). I had a picture taken and weighed in at 134.5 which was higher than expected, but I must have been bloated that day or something. I don't really think I can win in the weight loss part, because I really only have 10 pounds to lose and there are a lot of people much larger than me who will lose a lot more weight in 6 weeks. But I definitely can win the bodypump class attendance part. This will motivate me to start going 3-4 times a week. And at that rate I'm POSITIVE I'll make a change in my body.
That being said, I've decided to completely buckle down on my eating habits. I am going to be strict 6 days out of the week and eat nothing but fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, protein etc...limiting dairy and taking my vitamins religiously.
School ended yesterday for me, which is fantastic because now I can focus even more on myself and finally achieving these goals that I have worked so hard to complete.
My goal weight is still 125, and though I was hoping to be there by now, I should still be thankful that at least I have maintained and not re-gained any of my weight lost.
Today is day 3 of eating healthy and exercising.
We'll see where I'm at in June!!

Oh and I also have started running on the days my gym is closed. This is something I haven't done in a while simply because the workouts my gym offer satisfy all of my cardio needs. BUT I'm going to start incorporating running more to give me that extra kick I need in weight loss...not to mention it feels SOOO good now that it's warmed up. Great for my mental and physical health.

Good luck with working out 6 times a week and healthy eating. I understand where you're coming from of not gaining, but not losing either. Part of why I joined this site was the logging food and exercise--to keep myself honest. Take care, Dessa
