Good morning, I am so pleased with this way of eating that I do not consider it a diet at all. I love the food, staying around 1400 calories and anywhere from 20 to 25 net carbs. The zero carb bread from Julian Bakery has become a staple to me. At first, because it is so different in taste, I didn’t care for it that much, now I like it. I especially like the fact that it has absolutely no net carbs and lots of fiber. I don’t miss a thing from my old way of eating. I feel so much better health wise, have gone down 2 sizes, what more could I ask for? Have a blessed day friends!

I agree with you, Gigi...this way of eating is absolutely painless and hard to believe that it is actually a way to lose pounds as well. I, too, feel so much healthier...I may not be losing in leaps and bounds but I do feel better and I know that I look better because the clothes fit better as well. I am acquiring a taste for the zero carb bread and find that it is actually quite palatable. I told my sister about it and she ordered some as well...she is quite diabetic so I hope this will help her. She loves Carb #1 and said to thank you for turning us onto it....she lives in Indianapolis. Too far away to share our orders but we do it in spirit. I too am staying around 1400 but find that I seldom get over 1200. Am still working on getting the right combinations of foods to maximize my carbs and calories. I also am working hard at the trying not to eat supper too late in the evening. So many factors to consider and get coordinated, eh? I love the Silk Almond Milk and have been experimenting up a storm. Thank you for sharing. I also thought of you this morning as I had a fried egg sandwich on the carb zero bread..a nice change and quite tasty! See, you are such a positive influence on me...thank you for being my buddy. I hope you have a grand day....I am blessed indeed.

LOL, Gwen, I just called the Bakery, they have a two week waiting list on the Zero Bread. I am so happy! That means they will continue baking it. We are going down to Palm Springs on the 18th and I wanted to make sure I had enough to last me. I still ordered the #1 carb though, because Jim loves it too. When I am down there I will call and get the Zero re-ordered. It's great that your sister likes it too :) . Like you Gwen, I don't mind loosing slowly, it's the way I live now. God bless you my friend!!!

So encouraging that you have found an eating pattern that is so fulfilling. I will have to look up the bread and see if an equivalent is available here, I have been using rice thins the past few days.
Blessings, Jan

I agree, as well; however, there still are some things that I miss, for which there is no substitution, but for now those things will have to wait. Keep up the good work. :-)

Oh Gigi, what great news. I was worried that it might not be a hit. I am glad, however, that I ordered five loaves when I did. Might have to ration myself a bit or reorder in the next week or so. YAY ZERO CARB BREAD...
