SUNDAY NIGHT...
Home from Kansas City...we had a great time. We got there about noon, visited for a bit, then went shopping for food stuffs. We celebrated Cinco Di Mayo with some low carb burritos, and, of course, ZERO carb margaritas. We stayed up fairly late watching movies, and then today went to the KC zoo. Had a great time there also. So many cool things to see. I took lots of pictures and videos....will post some later.
I did great with the food and even the exercise. Today I had over 17,000 steps...yesterday around 8,000 and that is just putzing around.
That is all I feel like writing now...will try to record more tomorrow. For now it is nitey-nite time for Stef.
Hope all is well in your worlds!
TTFN!

Wow well done on those 17,000 steps - that must be about 15+ miles. The reason I say that is, when I do my 5K, I wear a pedometer - at then end of it I have taken approx 7,000 steps - 5k is just over 3 miles.... Even your 8,000 'just put zing' around is over 3 miles... ,!!

Great job on the fun and the putzing, Stef. You so deserve it. And, as usual, great job on the steps. My 4mph walk for an hour (4 miles or 6.4k total) is about 8000 steps on the treadmill. So I'd guess you were looking at about 9 miles worth of steps. Have a great day today.

Thanks, Pam. Unfortunately my legs are so short (27 inch inseam) that it only equaled about 6.5 miles. lol But I'll take it!

Heather, I speak only the truth! My legs really are that short, and my fitbit takes my height into account when it calculates the distance I walked. It only came to 7.04 miles for the day...but as I told Pam, I'll take it.

Is, so was I. I have missed them terribly. Hubby's legs were really sore, as he is not used to walking as many steps as I do! Lol...

FOL, you are so right...it is so much nicer if you are doing something you enjoy what you are doing when you are exercising. The animals were awesome!
