Decided to add a little fat back into my diet. Bacon, Hash Browns, Eggs for breakfast. Attempting today to burn off more calories than I consume. Here's a summary of my exercise activities today:
Elliptical Machine 6am-6:30. Resistance level 20 for the first 20 minutes, 10 the last 10. Machine said I burned off 725 calories.
Elliptical Machine 9:45-10 am - Resistance level 20, small in middle of routine to check on breakfast in skillet.
Added fish oil, dong quai root, multi-vitamin for her and DHEA 50 mg to breakfast. Striving for better hormonal balance.
DHEA is a natural steroid and precursor hormone produced by the adrenal and is supposed to curb muscle loss, increase weight loss, reduce osteoporosis, and depression — even help with menopause.
Adequate levels of DHEA are needed to ensure your body can produce the hormones it needs when it needs them. In that balanced state your mood is stable and you feel clear-headed, joyful and vigorous. DHEA is the best “feel-good” hormone we know. And it works quickly and effectively when taken with the right combination of support.

Dong Quai is also known as Chinese Angelica and is primarily known for it's uses in treating women's problems including lack of sexual desire, the symptoms of menopause, cramps and PMS. It aids in increasing the effects of hormones in both men and women and is widely used as an aphrodisiac. Dong Quai is particularly useful in helping to end hot flashes and menstrual cramps.
FISH OIL: The health benefits of fish oil include its ability to aid in treatment of heart diseases, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, AHDH, low immunity, cancer, diabetes, inflammation, arthritis, IBD, AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, eye disorders, macular degeneration and ulcers. It is helps in weight loss, pregnancy, fertility and skin care (particular for disorders such as psoriasis, acne).
