Personal Therapy Session

Courage...I borrowed some from someplace, somewhere & got on the scale this morning. I didn't want to, but I did. I was laying in bed thinking about it, being afraid of what the scale would say, of me, of my week, of how well I was doing, of if this is working or not. Honestly, all those thoughts ran through my head. No matter how much I don't want it to be true, how much I know it shouldn't really matter that much, but it does...that darn number on the scale measures a lot...IF I let it. Well, I decided I wasn't going to let it run my life, my feelings or ruin my day, or de-rail what I have going. But, I wasn't going to run away from it like I did yesterday either. So I told myself this is what you are going to do; You are going to GET UP, weigh in & deal with it! Quit being a cry baby, & get on with your day & make it a good day too, no whining, no feeling sorry for yourself. It is what it is. Know in your heart & head that the food that was logged is as true & honest as it can be, without weighing & measuring each & everything can be. I have my tricks, knowing how much certain containers & serving utinsils hold because I have measured them. So when I am packing lunch or serving plates I am pretty accurate...I think anyway. My excercise log is true too. So therefore the 2.2 pounds I gained should be what then? IDK...but it can't be fat?

I made lots of progress in the yard yesterday, but lots more to go, for sure. Big rain coming according to the radar, it's already really wet, so I hope it comes & goes quick so I can get back outside.

They boys are out fishing, I think they are nuts with this weather coming in, but they say they know what they are doing...I worry.

Morning GG-girl..I did finally get to see the super moon..it was in between the clouds..and the glow it put on them was awesome..and it was very bright...and looked bigger...As for the gain of 2 or so is not fat as you well know..if TOM is on its way..there's culprit...I used to gain 5 to 8 pounds with it..so just take it with a grain of salt and move on..you will probably see a big loss in the future..Have a great day and hope they catch you some fish to fry...:O)

The 2.2 is water weight which you will lose shortly - along with this bout of temporary insanity. Take a deep breath and enjoy what is left of the weekend.

It's a combination of impending TOM and added lean muscle...don't forget all that awesome exercise you've been doing! You're doing just great....making big strides in changing your life.....3 silly little numbers cannot keep you from achieving your goals!

Did see the supermoon, which was fabulous. I agree with Sandy, the exercise will make you show a gain the first few days.

Everyone's right. Those 2 lbs can be explained away. Don't you worry, GG girl. They'll come off right after TOM. Hope your boys came back okay, and hope you're feeling better soon.
