REASON TO EXERCISE #10: Because I REFUSE to shop for a larger wardrobe, so I need to fit into the ones I have!
Went shopping over the weekend, and I tried on a pair of 17/18 pants. I couldn't even get them over my hips and butt... Sssssoooooo depressing. I am once again at the point where I have no idea what size I actually am. All the pants I own are once again stretchy, and those were given to me by my mother, which I promptly tore off the tags so I didn't have to look at what size they were. At least when I was a 16 I could find some decent cute clothes to fit me, not it's a constant struggle and I wear Yoga pants everywhere I go.
After a day of clothes shopping, I usually end up leaving the stores with nothing but a bad mood and a bucket of ice cream. I didn't do the ice cream this time, but I certainly had the bad mood. I hate the size I am now. I hate that I have no energy. I hate that my back hurts all the time and I can't even stand up straight as a result.
Ssssooooo.... since I REFUSE to buy a larger size in clothing, I need to start squeezing into the ones I have now! I think I'll go to the hiking trail this evening?! .....
To leave on a positive note.... the yoga pants do at least lift and firm up the bum and keep the legs from jiggling all over the place. I have caught at least one guy checking out my butt in those in pants. I choose to think that they're admiring it and aren't staring at it as though it's so massive that it's like a bug being drawn to the bug zapper... Oh well, so much for leaving on a positive note. ;D

Hiking sounds like a great idea, and if you keep up the exercise, soon enough you will be going shopping and leaving happier. You can do this, just keep at it. And, I'm sure those guys were admiring, they are guys after all. :)

I love the part about the bug being drawn to the bug zapper! LOL. You'll be OK; you've done it before; you can do it again, but this time make it a lifestyle change. There's a lot of support on here - though it appears we talk about a lot more than dieting. :) Anyway, make it fun. Hmmm, since I'm pretty old, I guess I would be creepy looking at your butt, but hey, just don't tell my wife.
