1ST week starting fresh on Atkins...I killed it and lost 7 pounds. I ate well and felt pretty good...a little draggy which is normal for me on Atkins but it's a sacrifice I make to try to get this damn weight off. 2ND week on Atkins, 1 pound lost. I was seriously ill over one stupid pound and not more but I should have been thankful...today marks the beginning of my fourth week and I have lost NO POUNDS. It's this vicious cycle I get stuck in...I lose my appetite for whatever reason...even if my tummy is growling, my mind says..."No food for me, thank you"....so I don't eat enough barely getting 700-800 calories and rarely more than 10 carbs. Plus because I'm not eating well or nearly enough, I feel even more draggy than before. It's so hard to get little or no results and keep my iron will. I want to gorge to comfort myself but I know that won't get me where I want to be either. Since I turned 40, losing weight has gotten even more difficult and I am so tired of it....mostly I'm tired of being such a fatty and being disgusted with myself. Wish I was one of those people who could be happy with myself no matter how much I weigh...sadly, I am not. Praying for strength.
