It is a God thing....
My Grandpa decided not to take my grandma to Radiation yesterday. if so there is a very good chance that he would not be alive right now....
This morning he took a turn for the worst and they did an emergency heart cath. His front is 95% blocked the back is 85% blocked. They said if he didnt come in when he did and his heart had a full heart attack he would be dead. No questions asked. They said what he had was a widow maker waiting to happen. Praise God that he decided to pull into the emergency room when he did instead of ignoring it. They are doing quad bypass tomorrow morning. I hate that I am out of town and can not be there with him, but I know right now he is surrounded by a bunch of family and I will be home for about 20 hours tomorrow so I will get to see him then.
My Grandma on the other hand got her results from her most recent scan. The radiation is having no effect on the cancer. she is stopping radiation at least for now until Grandpa gets feeling better and she will re-evaluate her options later. She is so lucky because with her first battle with cancer she was never sick on radiation or chemo and so far the couple of weeks of treatments she has not been sick either, but if it is doing no good it is hard to decide if you are going to continue it or not.
Please please pray for both my grandma and my grandpa

How much stress you must be under about your Grandma and Grandpa! Sending thoughts and prayers your way. Take care of yourself, and get home safe to your Grandpa!

I'm so glad thing worked out the way they did. I hope all goes well with the surgery.
