Another pound down and feeling good. My clothes are starting to feel more comfortable and loose. I think I will reach my mini-goal to fit comfortably in my "fat jeans" by this weekend. We are going to the coast for the weekend with some friends and I haven't been comfortable in jeans since my surgery last November. This will be our first vacation since before we had my daughter and even though it is short, I will make the very most of it.
My husband finally used our new elliptical last night and I am so happy for him. We recently found out that he has ADHD but also fatty liver disease, though he looks slender, he is not "skinny" on the inside and needs to get in shape. Consistency will be a problem because of the ADHD and the "pills don't teach skills" but his confidence is growing every day and he is starting to use the tools that have been given to him. I just cook healthy and try to encourage him. It also helps that he has finally found a job in his chosen career (it took 2 years since he got his degree to find it, which has been hard on him) and our lives seem to be stabilizing out. He seems more ready to focus on his health now since he is not using all of his spare mental energy looking for a better job.
My right knee is a little sore today so I am going to make sure to ice it after my workout.

Good to see you and your family are doing well. I am getting back on the low carb bandwagon in some form or another in the next week or two, I will ease into this, not something I want to do but now I have to... And it is good you have that workout equipment in your place to get yourselves in shape.
