Gained ten pounds this year but really who am I kidding...I ate like a teamster. Staying with a Baba out of town who fed me like Hansel and Gretel. Back home now and back at 'er. Just went for a phenomenal run, have stayed on track this week! Feels good to be back in the saddle and back in some kind of control. It's been a crazy year, good and low with nothing really in between. Had a doctor's appointment today, was diagnosed with a neurological disease in January and I must say that took the wind out of my sails but now I realize that I am the same and the very best thing I can do is keep healthy. Blood is healthy, cholesterol is low ...he just said I might want to shave off about 15 lbs. So I'm gonna try! Also just got engaged on saturday...what bride to be doesn't dream of of a sleek silhouette walking down that aisle? I don't really think I'll turn into a bridezilla but I would rather look less like a marshmallow have to. Am off to walk the Camino in Spain on May 22...many miles will be clocked! Have also taken up bee keeping so this should be a fun summer. Meggie
