Feeling good today. I didn't have a chance to work out yesterday, long day at work, but after work I went grocery shopping and bought loads of healthy foods. That always makes me feel GREAT! I bought lots of veggies and delicious-looking fruit. Yes, FRUIT. Because fruit is good for me and I'm sick of depriving myself of it. Yes, it has carbs and sugar. I'm ok with that. A healthy diet should contain a couple servings of fruit and I'm excited to add it back to my diet.
Dinner last night was pan-seared salmon fillet and broccolini with caper olive relish. also a little brown rice. No apologies for that, either.
HIIT on the stairmill this morning and walked to work, walking home this afternoon and then cooking dinner for a friend who is going through a hard time right now. He's lost about 30 pounds (and was not overweight to start with)- I guess heartbreak is a very effective weightloss tool! Poor guy. Looking forward to making him a healthy, homemade meal.
