It is late Friday evening. I have started a pretty serious
workout regiment the last month. I work out an hour and half
three times a week at the gym.

My goals are three. I am 61 and work in a field that requires
me to be reasonably fit. Since I will no doubt need to work later
into my life, my conditioning has become important. Second is
that I have some weakened and stressed joints that need strengthening. Also by reducing my weight it relieves stress.
From my top weight I have lower about 10-15 lbs.
Last of all the emotional lift I get from working out is very
constructive to my attitude. I guess it is the old endorphin
rush, but it absolutely improves my life outlook. Plus feeling
more in tough with my health as well as being more motivated
to eat well, not just for weight, but for health.
