SATURDAY...NIGHT!
We went to the concert at church last night and had a great time. Pastor Mark, Connor (his son), and Pastor Brandon (youth pastor). They are all so talented. Afterward, Jake and Annie came here for dinner. Dan did a great job on the spaghetti sauce, as usual. We had ours over zucchini, the kids had pasta and garlic bread. I didn't eat any of the garlic brad, but not for lack of want!
Today was our day to clean the church, which of course was a bigger job than usual due to the concert there last night. We got home around 6 or 6:30. A friend of ours from church is going to take a look at the car tomorrow after church. We are praying he can fix it with a minimum of problems and that it doesn't take too long. We are so blessed to have such a great church family.
I didn't get the chance to walk today, but did still manage to get over 11,000 steps so far today, but I do plan on taking advantage of the nice weather tomorrow afternoon. The weather the last couple of days has been really raw...cold and windy. Supposed to be better tomorrow!
Tonight we are broiling a chicken for dinner, and steaming some zucchini, broccoli, and having a salad. We seasoned the chicken with hot salt and Andy's seasoning so it will be like hot wings. Just add some ranch dressing, and we are good to go!
Tomorrow is our evening with mom...if the car is repaired, then we will have Jake drive us down, so that we don't have to leave the van. We are a 2 car family with only 1 driver! lol
That's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner, hope all is well in your's!
TTFN!!

One of my weaknesses is broccoli and zucchini. I guess that's two, Stef. Enjoy your dinner. Hope 'baby' is good as new soon.

Skinny, THANKS!! I love it and so does hubby...we made enough for them for dinner, sent the toasted slices and the rest of the loaf home with them...just too tempting! lol

Bren, the problem with a lot of garlic breads is that people put too much garlic. We use just a small amount of garlic powder, real butter, and a sprinkle of salt, rather than garlic salt. Slice the bread, dip it in melted butter first, then sprinkle with the garlic and salt and place under the broiler until just toasted brown. Then top with queso cheese if you like. MMMM, yummy, and the exact reason I only made enough for them and sent the leftovers home! lol But I hear ya on things not liking you...I have that problem with cabbage! lol Love ya, my sweet friend! Hugs!

Glad the car is repaired. I know how that feels. LOL! It sounds like cleaning the church was plenty of exercise without extra walking. See you later my friend!

Bonnie, so am I...and the church was a bear this time 'round. It won't be our turn again for another 6 weeks or so. But I think that may coincide with the spring cleaning and sprucing up weekend, so we will have LOTS of help! lol Have a great day!
