I didn't chicken out!
I really thought I was going to, but I didn't and I'm pretty proud of myself. For the first time in my life I genuinely celebrated my birthday- it was a blast.
Had 11 good friends and family members for dinner at Olive Garden (yum!) and then some of us went to the bar. I hadn't really invited any of my other friends, because I was planning to chicken out of the drinking part of the evening.
And in case you wondered after my last few journals- I did wear the party dress! I think I rocked it too. ;-) I got checked out often enough to boost my confidence. Not too shabby for a 28 year old in a college town. I'll post some pictures later.
Side note: it's been a while since I've gone dancing. Wow! I need to work on my quads! About 4 hours of clubbing + 4 inch heels = ouch. That counts as my workout right?
And the other happy news today: I'm still at my lowest weight ever!
WOOHOO!

LOL so glad you didn't chicken out..sounds like you had a wonderful time..can't wait to see the pics..and yea dancing in high heels is good exercise..shoot it would be for me just to be able to walk in them been for ever since I wore any..Congrats on your lowest ever...:O)

belated happy birthday! and nice going on the heels :)) glad you had a blast :) and just imagining you dancing with heels makes me smile and wonder if i could do that :))
