Back to Atkins. It doesn't show in my diary because I was too freaked out to record it, but basically I tried doing my own non-atkins thing. Just low cal and exercise and GAINED over 6 lbs in 10 days. Back on Atkins and most of that has come off now 4 days later.

I just did the same thing! So mad at myself! I didn't gain 6 pounds....but did regain all I lost plus an extra pound!!!!!! Gonna focus on the book and get back on track!

That's because you have to slowly add carbs back in and retrain your body to the carbs. When you get to goal weight, the same thing is going to happen. That's why it's so important to transition back to carbs very slowly. That is the one downfall of Atkins. When you cheat with carbs you can pack on the pounds fast. Most of what you gained was not fat but water which is why it came off so fast.
