SNOWY MONDAY...
and I a still fighting this cold. Spent Saturday just lying around, resting up. House did not get cleaned, no walk, no kettle bell, nothing, nada...just took medicine and rested. I did do the snacks, the valentines for the kiddos, and got the coffee ready for church Saturday evening, so I could sleep a little later yesterday morning. Got up, went to church, which was awesome, and came home, had lunch, took a little nap, some more medicine, and headed over to mom's. She is sick...has a horrid cold, which is in her chest. My wonderful BIL is at urgent care with her now, seeing if they can get some medicine for her, and making sure it is not in her chest. I had planned to go down if she needed to go, but awoke to snow, very nasty roads, and lots of cars in ditches. One of the major highways was closed due to a fatal accident, closer to mom's house. Baby sis left for work this am at 7:10, dropped off the kiddos at school, and 30 minutes later had not gotten 5 miles. Cars were off everywhere, so she turned around, picked the kids back up, and came home. Took her nearly an hour to get back here...just about 10 miles. It is supposed to snow all day and most of tonight...not a lot of accumulation expected, but it is a dry and really slick snow.
In other news, as you can see the weight is static. I did exercise every day but Friday and Saturday...was just not up to it. My food choices have been right on target, so I will just keep doing what I am doing and eventually the scale will move. I have the rest of my life to wait this out...and I WILL WIN!

Auntie, the being sick really stinks, but I love the snow! lol Just wish I felt well enough to go out and walk in it! :(

You are doing the best thing, by resting up when you need to.... As you say, you have the rest of your life..... I hate the snow and bad weather, when it causes accidents and the roads are so bad travelling takes forever. Hope you feel better soon - well done for carrying on exercising last week - weekends are for relaxing anyway :-)

Sorry you're sick. I love the snow too! We got some today! Probably all we will get this year too. I thought it would be melted by now but it's sticking around. Your weight will start moving again, we all have plateaus. :)

So sorry you are still feeling sick. Colds are awful. Be careful if you are driving. It sounds pretty scary. Hope you feel better today. Happy Valentines Day Stef!!

I'm sorry your still not feeling well. I will pray that it leaves you soon. We got a bit of snow yesterday and now today it is in the 30's. Tomorrow it is suppose to be in the 40's. I WILL TAKE IT!!!lol Don't get discouraged, as you know the exercising is building muscle. Your doing a great job. Just stay focused on being healthy and eating right.
