TUESDAY EVENING...
I haven't been able to do my journal entries in the morning for the last couple of days. I hate when my routine gets interrupted, but sometimes there just is no help for it. I did get my walk in yesterday and today, and a kettle bell workout done yesterday, so at least that is getting back on track. It is so much easier to walk when the weather cooperates. It was 70 yesterday, and almost 70 today. There is some rain in the forecast overnight, and it is supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow. But still unseasonably warm here in the mid-west. We did some work outside in the yard today, after I got back from walking with my neighbor. Now I have blisters on my fingers, but that's okay...a little manual labor never hurt anybody, right?
Food has been good...we are having a nice beef roast with mashed cauliflower for dinner tonight. Scale is still playing head games with me but I refuse to let it get me down. I will eventually win this contest, and once I hit "onederland", it will once again start moving on a more regular basis. STOOPIT SCALE!!! lol
Tomorrow is mom day. Guess I'll go down and let them beat me up at Rummy again. lol I need to clean house, but that will probably have to wait until Thursday.
Well, that's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner...hope all is well in yours!

Busy days sometimes just have to have them, that has been me this week I miss reading journals see how buddies are doing. I love Rummy and love to win, that is probably one of the only times....oh and now my weight too....70 sounds good to me...although it has been 50 in MI today so can't complain spring already :) Happy evening Stef...

Sounds like you have been busy Steff. :-). What kettle ball exercise do you follow? have you had personal training, to show you how to use them? what weight do you use? So many questions LOL. I have some but don't often use them - mainly because I don't know what to do.

Yvonne, this morning I am able to come to FS earlier...yay! This is our evening with mom, so we will be heading out about 4. Need to do some things around here first, though. I also miss reading my buddies journals and commenting. This is one of my inspiration places don't ya know? lol My mom loves to win, and she plays to win...she is a sandbagger! lol When hubby and I play it is for the fun of it, but with mom, it is a whole different kind of play! lol Have a great day, my friend! :)

Sk1nny, it has been a bit busy, but that's better than sitting around on my duff! As for the kettle bell workout, I have a dvd that came with mine by Gin Miller's Calorie Burning Workout With Kettle Bells. I am using a 5 pound weight right now, but it is time to step it up a bit. I am asking for a 10 and 20 pounder for my birthday! If you Google Gin Miller's Kettle Bell workouts, there are a lot of them on there. The biggest thing is to make sure you engage your gluts and abs when you are doing the exercise. It really is amazing how quickly you start to feel it, even with only a 5 pound bell. I sure know how you feel when the routine gets out of sorts. Hope you had fun playing Rummey with your mom. I wish I could get SOMEONE, anyone to play cards or Yahtzee with me. I love that, but no one like to play games. Oh well, I guess that's good because now I have more time with my friends here on FS. Have a great day sweetie.:)HUGS:)
