Did not really watch my carbs like I should have yesterday but did not think there would be so much counted for in the marinara sauce I made, but with onions and canned tomatoes and sauce, I guess to be expected. Note to self: tomatoes have lots of carbs.

I think this is the first time I've gone over my net 20 carbs, and guess what? It showed up on the scale. I also feel like I did not get enough water in and had very salty olives. So a combo of this and the scale showed 120.1. Very disappointing because I thought I was over the hump. It sucks being in your 40's and trying to lose weight.

Sucking down water today and will definitely watch my carbs!

Another thing to love about being on Atkins is that I waste less food, am more resourceful, and eat out less as well as eating way less crap.

Had some leftover asparagus and hollandaise from a restaurant. Scrambled some eggs, threw in cut-up asparagus, poured the hollandaise over it, added some freshly ground pepper. Yum-O!

Lol fat is leaving your body every minute whether the scale records that or not. Check your neck, cheekbones, thighs, waist--am sure its all shrinking as we speak!! The weight may come off more slowly in the 40's but you will get there! End result is the same. :-)

Maria, Thanks. I hope that the fat is leaving my body. I have actually noticed by cheekbones looking more prominent. hehe
