It's Monday and the most gorgeous day. My neighbor and I just came in. We were sitting outside, IN THE SHADE mind you, with no jackets. It's January 16th! Someone forgot to tell the weather pixies.
I've no idea why . . . I'm TIRED. No, not tired, sleepy, even with my coffee. According to fitbit, I'm sleeping long hours, like a rock. So, why am I sleepy? I haven't had a sleep study done since I've lost weight. It may be time to be reassessed. Fitbit only shows if you move while you're sleeping, not if you've quit breathing.
I made my first loaf of gluten-free bread . . . AND ATE IT! Eating gluten-free baked products is like eating lamb. You have to get a different mind set. Gluten free tastes great if you don't try comparing it to wheat. Lamb tastes great if you don't try comparing it to beef. An orange doesn't taste like an apple but you don't expect it to. If you make bread you expect it to taste like the bread you're used too. It doesn't. If you make something with lamb burger, you expect it to taste like hamburger. It doesn't. I just have to put my head in a different place. I can't have gluten. I get lamb for free and I can't afford hamburger. They are what they are. I have to adjust.
OK. That's my rant for the day. I'm off to try to accomplish something. I just realized, my tummy hurts. I wonder if that's the WHOLE LOAF of bread talking, even if it was gluten-free?

Hi Johanne, thanks for your reply to my request. I know what you mean by the unusual amount of sleepiness, my husband is so concerned because he is tired all the time no matter how much sleep he gets and he has been checked out completely. I hate that lingering drowsiness that we definately keep feeling here in Scotland too. WE both went round the shops the other day, YAWNING constantly, i began to feel embarrassed. Going to bed soon it is 00.15 here. night night. Enjoyed your rant Sazy

Ooooooooh! Scotland. Can I come visit? I've only been there once and fell in love. Good night and big hugs!
