I was so tired this morning. But I have to go out into the kitchen and make my lunch for work. I pack lunch each day so I am not tempted by all the things in the cafeteria. When I eat out, I bring backup, just in case they serve nothing low carb. I use my kitchen scale for portion sizes and have a spare in my car for emergencies.
A coworker shared with me the 3 D's to change - Desire, Determination and Discipline. Without one of them, it is really hard to make permanent change - and if you think you have all three but still have problems, then add a fourth, Denial. Something in the first three needs to change.
